Tony Allen
Tony is a retired law enforcement officer, completing just over 31 years of service to the State of South Carolina with The Myrtle Beach Police Department (1989-2020). Through hard work and diligence, he moved up through the organization, obtaining Lieutenant Rank, and title Executive Officer to the Chief of Police, before retiring honorably in 2020. The majority of his police career revolved around criminal investigations with the Myrtle Beach Police Department Investigations Unit, with a focus on Violent Crimes and Homicide Investigation. Tony’s work and career with The Myrtle Beach Police Department would not have been possible without the loving support of his beautiful wife, Melissa, and their son, Kaleb. Tony’s family means the world to him, and mere words cannot describe his love and devotion to family.
Post retirement, Tony keeps busy as a South Carolina Licensed Private Investigator. His business, Blue Standard Services, LLC, provides criminal and civil (personal injury) related investigative services and consultation, with a focuses on traffic collision investigation, as well as crash data retrieval and Imaging of wrecked vehicles. Blue Standard Services business mantra “How Can We Help?” is a continuation of Tony’s life work and service to helping others. Throughout his life and career, Tony has had the honor and blessing of participating in many various community related organizations and events; Fraternal Order of Police, Police Benevolent Association, South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association, Henry Williams Homicide Association, Executive Board & Charter Member to 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Police Officer Joe McGarry Foundation, Inc (The purpose of the foundation is exclusively educational, scientific, community service oriented, and charitable), Volunteer, participant, and charter member to the Santa’s Helpers Program (Myrtle Beach PD), Volunteer & contributor in the Adopt a Family Program (sponsored by Conway PD), United Way Program (City of Myrtle Beach), Contributor to the “Samaritan House” that provides support to the local community families in need, Contributor and former volunteer member of The Salvation Army, Contributor and participant of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life (Manning, SC), Volunteer/participant in Horry County Early College High School BE2 (Business/Education Expectations) Program (http://www.horrycountybe2.com/), Volunteer & contributor to Clarendon County Dancing with the Stars (benefitting Turbeville Children’s Home, Habitat for Humanity and Miracle Network).
